Please explain this one to me. A moron idiot with a gun goes on a shooting rampage. Then gets shot in the leg by the police. So ACC gives him a $10000 leg yet he has contributed most probably nothing to ACC in his life yet the government feels it fine to hit bikers the hardest with ACC levies?

This is what you call soft. No wonder people think they can do things like this and get away with it. Bit of anger manangement and 1/3 of his sentanced served and he is ready for release next year.

You know these idiots annoy me. Not cyclists themselves however the pack mentality ones. Take for instance this accident where a lady jumps a stop street and knocks 5 of them over putting one into ICU.

She is a moron and deserves to be charged only exception to that would be unexplained mechanical failure of her breaks or accelerator.

However what is the first thing these dumb sods do, “Speed kills we want the speed limit dropped to 40kph” Huh?

Lets see she jumped a stop street however this equates to speeding. Especially when the original article refers to her slowing down and then not stopping.

So lets rephrase that the sudden stop kills not speed.

Also the road they are talking about is a narrow twisty thing yet let me guess none of them were riding in single file allowing other road users to use the road as well? Does not matter if you are wearing high visibility clothing is you are being inconsiderate.

Also next step they are getting all upset about the speed limit. Right drop it to 40kph however a good cyclist will be breaking this speed limit? Are the police going to issue a ticket to them for breaking the speed limit?

If the speed limit drops will they stop jumping red lights and stop streets themselves?

They are the biggest ones to moan however I can cite most of them on more road infractions then I see dumb sleepy makeup doing having drivers committing in the mornings.

Lets be honest here and stop trying to push a person issue where it can’t be pushed and call a kettle a kettle. The woman jumped the stop street this caused the accident. To prevent this why not install some road spikes that deploy for anyone that does not stop at stop street or red light… O wait we can’t do that as the cyclists themselves will be patching there tires every 2 min.

FYI I used to ride a bicycle everyday so I know what I am talking about. I now have a motorised 2 wheeled object due to distance I have to travel and I can tell you that 90% of car drivers are brain dead morons as well.

I live by one simple rule on the road… Assume the person is a moron what is the worst thing that idiot can do and times it by 10 and that is what they will do. Adjust accordingly and ride safely.

Now stop with this BS of speed kills, unless you are referring to the drug based one.

I am glad it is weekend. For many reasons some I can’t talk about now but lets just say don’t get a tummy bug at the start of a very busy week.

Seems there is a nasty bug going around started off with the little one then the wife got it followed by me. Has left me run down the whole week I am only now starting to feel normal again. What amazes me most is the fact that the wife and myself were crippled by it and wanted to die yet the little one danced around drank some water projectile vomited and then said her tummy was sore and carried on dancing.

Amazing how strong these little buggers are.

I am surrounded by foam and carbon in my workshop and ironically I need to order some more stuff as I am running out of other stock. It is just a never ending process it seems. I was hoping at some point by now I would have a stable stock of common parts which I could continue making lots of planes. However that is not to be the case. Which is good as well as it means things are doing well I am being forced to grow the kit making.

I really want to spend some more time on the shop site this weekend so I can make it much more presentable and work on getting some business cards made. Wherever I go these little plane kits just seem make people want to buy and fly them. Which is good as they are great kits. I have to say that but I am not lying people have given them great reviews. I have so many to build and test that I sometimes wonder if I will ever get a chance to get to them all.

I really need to get some flying in this weekend. Been to hectic the last few and have not really had a great fly for a while. I need to get some decent hours logged behind that Pitts. She is sitting on the floor looking at me saying please fly me. Guess I will give her a go this weekend all going well.

Anyway enough bantering around I need to get to be and get some sleep I have a long weekend ahead of me.

I am looking for a box that is rectangle in shape not square. 1m long about 400mm wide and 50mm thick.

You would think there is something that size around, guess again. Eitherway I have now invested in $60 worth of cardboard to make my own boxes. Hopefully it will be arriving in the next day or so.

More stuff to clutter my mancave… Guess tomorrow I will be cleaning it up so I can start working again.

It is bad enough that spam companies spam us normally however getting
our friends to spam us with junk as well.. Well that just annoys me.

So I have set up this little blog page to attempt to provide an update
of what I am up to in life, I might link it back into Facebook so I
don’t have to log into but the updates will appear there or something.

decided to decommission it. I no longer race I no longer have the time
to follow MotoGP sadly and well I have other safer hobbies to partake in
